Dear Nerds,
Brock LaBorde (Studio8.net) and I just guest-hosted an episode of Geekscape and it’s available here. It was in promotion of the new Terp 2 it album and Brock’s book, The Semi-Complete Guide to Sort of Being a Gentleman. Both available at Studio8.net.
Brock and I have also been working on our secret McDonalds show for the see.hear.speak. comedy festival happening in January at ColdTowne AS WELL AS editing sketches shot back in the summer.
This Sunday is the Fun Razor for the festival (pictured above, you) - I’ve been busting ass on planning this big daddy event and your support at the Fun Razor will help everything happen smoothly-er. Come out, bid on some silent auction stuff (good stuff), listen to music, eat some treats, do your thing. 3:00p-7:00p!
Enjoy your second daddy-themed video of the week, this one produced by Studio8.net. Look forward to the first music video release from Terp 2 it coming soon! It’s for “O” and the videos for “Backpack” and “this is not a mustache” and have also been shot. I return to Austin next week and will be performing Friday night at ColdTowne at 8:00p, 10:00p, and headlining the Midnight Special (free) at 11:30. Saturday night I’ll be performing at 8:00p and 10:00p and Sunday (free) at 7:00p.
And for those Austin-based readers who are wondering what the ColdTowne improv class fuss is about, come take a free class this NEXT Monday at 7:00p.
More comedy from The P! Company can be found here.
And in check-this-out news, I’ve been nominated for the following awards by my performing peers in Austin:
Most Fearless Improviser, Most Playful and Accepting Improviser, Best Absurd Scenes, Hardest Working Individual for the Collective, Best Improv Teacher, Best Improv Group (ColdTowne), Hardest Working Improv Group (ColdTowne), and maybe something else as well.
